Yes!  I had intended trying again this morning but after washing my phone yesterday it will have to wait until it dries out.

Yeah!!! Once they suggested washing your hands every few minutes for 20 seconds or more I bought loads of shares in the water companies

Amazingly I got it working when I'd dried it out!!!  In the meantime a friend has ordered me another one which is apparently 'an idiot proof' smart phone.   Mmmhhh!  I wonder.......

 Did it go in the washing machine?

Yes!   It was in the pocket of my jeans and as I have cheap rate electric overnight, that's when I do my washing so had no idae until I emptied the machine next morning!!!!!   I'm amazed it still works....
