University of South Wales (@UniSouthWales) Tweeted: Our scientists have developed a simple, quick and cost-effective diagnostic test for Covid-19. The test is designed to support frontline health workers, prevent further spread and enable them to quickly return to work.

Paul, although your message seemed to be correct I would rather get information direct from the horses mouth rather than unsocial media (twitter for example).. in this respect I looked up the Uni website and after some page searches found it isn't anything like false (fake) news

Great to report it to us, thanks  :tiphat:

I'm on a ferry to UK in a few weeks.
It'll be interesting !!! personally I'll be in my cabin for 23 hours watching dvds eating sleeping.
I'm wondering if at Portsmouth we'll all get tested for antibody and active infection at customs instead of them looking for whatever they're looking for in the boot y also get told to isolate for 2 weeks.
I hope the USW are onto a winner.

They are not testing at the moment at Portsmouth. I wish they would!!

I would personally prefer to see people be tested before they travel and not at the point of arrival but I don't think that is ever going to happen.

Incidentally, my friends nephew has this afternoon flew from London Heathrow into Madrid. He says there were no checks and he wasn't tested, just walked right through. Worrying!
