The Civil Guard has detained three people and has dismantled an "active" cocaine sales point in the municipality of Zurgena after the search of two houses in which several weapons have also been located.
The agents began the ´Zurclock´ operation as a result of the growth of complaints filed and apprehensions of narcotic substances in the municipality, in which an increase in the "traffic of foreigners" around the houses investigated since April of last year 2020 was observed, despite the confinement derived from the Covid-19 State of Alarm.
As indicated by the Civil Guard Command, the investigations carried out in recent months made it possible to locate an "active" point of sale of cocaine and identify three suspects as responsible for the sale of narcotic substances.
Through a large device, a simultaneous search was carried out in the two houses in which different doses of cocaine were found wrapped and ready for sale, 2,395 euros in cash , utensils for cutting and dosing narcotic substances, five cartridges of 9mm calibre ammunition and a rapier cane, considered a "prohibited weapon".
The three detainees, one of them accused not only of a crime against public health but also of illegal possession of weapons, together with the proceedings are at the disposal of the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 3 of Huércal-Overa.
