I scrolled through all these yesterday! I love old photos and these are amazing. I cannot help comparing them to how things were at the same time frame as life in UK. I can remember speaking with an Old Fella from the village who was 84 when I moved here over 17 years ago. He told me that there had not been a tarmac road up to the village from the Baza road at the bottom until 20 years previous (so about 1984). He also told me that his father used to fish in the Almanzora river at Arbloeas and he learnt to swim there.
