The Walk 2021

WALK FOR LIFE 10TH ANNIVERSARY!
This was to be the 10th anniversary of the very first Walk for Life in Arboleas.  Sadly, it really does not look as though it will be possible.  Last year the 6K Any Way challenged that replaced the Walk was a great success and raised over €6000 so we are going to repeat it for 2021.

THE 6K ANY WAY CHALLENGE 2021
The Walk was 6 kilometres, and you can still do it on your own, with family, with friends, in small groups.  You can walk, run, cycle, push a buggy, push a wheelchair, swim or do it in your garden or your treadmill, you can even walk The Walk route.  You can do it all at once or spread it out over several weeks.  You can do it once, once a week or once every day for a week.  You can do 3k or 18k it really is up to you. The challenge is to do it between Saturday 8th May and Saturday 3rd July and to persuade friends and family to sponsor you.
Sponsorship forms are available by messaging on here or email w4lifesweet@btinternet.com
Let us know what your challenge is, and we will put you on our website and Facebook page then let us know when you have completed it and we will tell everybody; a photo would be good.
Please observe current social distancing and lockdown rules.
PS 6km is 3.72 miles.
Here are some photos from last year

Clare Harper is going to swim 6k a week for 6 weeks like she did last year

Melanie Rayner is going to run The Walk 6k route again this year.  Last year she did it in 38minutes.  How long would it take you?
