VIRUS UPDATE
Thursday we will see what the UK Government decision is about border controls.
This is something which is very important for many people here in Spain, because it affects the ability of meeting our families.
Today we hear that the Chancellor has written to the PM to say that the UK is the only country in Europe with such strict border controls and it is affecting economic recovery.
The problem seems to be that the so called experts are not carrying out a risk assessment.
They are fixated on the various variants.
But the latest data shows that all the vaccines work around 90% against all the variants.
So we wait to see what happens on Thursday, and whether the UK Government is capable of making a clear decision.
Logic says that someone entering from Spain is no more likely to have the virus than they would if they spent their time in the pub in the UK.
