Wildfires

There have been wildfires in Andalucia around Estapona.  One firefighter has died since fires started last wednesday.  Please be careful and do not throw cigarettes out of car windows.  Recently I have seen several people doing this as I've driven behind them.  What on earth are they thinking about?  Even with a bit of drizzle this morning the campo is a dry tinder and once alight, would spread rapidly.

Drivers will lose 4 points for putting other drivers at risk, throwing objects on the road that could cause accidents or 🔥 fire 🔥. Don't know what the penalty is for a passenger doing the same?

Whilst this may be a good idea, in practice I cannot see it making any difference as the Police would need to be travelling behind the vehicle when anything was thrown out.
