A long-time friend and supporter of Walk for life is currently facing her own battle with cancer and the charity is giving her support. Her family are very grateful for the help given. So grateful that they had their own fundraising in UK.
The family have a café bar, hotel and fish & chip shop in Kingston Upon Hull. Go to GingersEmbassy on facebook – it looks wonderful. They had a coffee morning planned for a Thursday. People and businesses donated cakes and it was so successful it ran from Thursday to Sunday. All proceeds from cake sales and coffee were donated to the cause and raised an incredibly £840. The family have made this up to £1000 which, dependent upon exchange rates, will be around €1200.
