Check your set up for Date and Time, some camera software only goes as far as 2037.
If you still have the camera in 2038 and want to continue using it, the work around solution is to reset the date to 2010 which is identical: the days are the same as 2038 and both are two years before a leap year.
The other ways to keep it going is to demand a firmware update or if that isn't forthcoming you will need to find a way to access the Matrix software directly. Hardware manipulation can be easier but it requires self-probing. Many people find that uncomfortable.
The easier way: Call your tech-guy and tell him you need help with a space-time continuum issue and you need direct access. He'll know what you mean.
