I bet many people who arrived here more than 17 years ago will remember the xmas spirit did not get going until a couple of weeks prior to the 25th December. Street decorations weren't hung before then and shops did not carry all the advertising they do now. All the shops in Albox had a red mat at the entrance of the shop and a small tree or cyclamen beside it, with a plate of free Turon sweets inside.
Somehow it felt far more special than it does now and the Big Day for the kids was the 6th January, when they got presents via Three Kings.
How times have changed and not really for the better IMO...
