But I always do....
No idea what temps were down there yesterday but I had an incredible 24.1 up here!!! I remember this day in 2004 when i sent the builders away as the cement was freezing to the blocks as they were being laid. I had minus 12!
Having shredded all my previous diaries, I cannot check but suspect it may have been warmest december day in the past 18+ years...

If all future winters are like this one, then I shall be content. Spring bulbs are breaking through, a lot of plants are still growing strong and pots need watering. I can still work outside in a t-shirt in the sunshine, instead of needing arctic clothing and barely able to move as I'm so bundled up.

I do wonder if the winter storms which the US has been having will find their way here?

It should be 7.6!
The LHS keys on my computer are all shot!!! In order to work I need to thump really hard. The key between Z and C has completely disappeared (I do mean really gone!)... I cannot get another until I know how much it's going to cost to finally legalise my house...

I have a few keyboards in as new condition, all are USB connectors. There are Spanish as well as UK layouts. If you are interested I'll take a photo or two and you can choose - as it's going to a good home, it's free
