We haven't had a recipe for ages so I thought I'd share the one I thought of this week and made today.
Ingredients:
Mercadona minced beef (any mince will do)
Onion
Garlic
Mushroom
2 eggs
Breadcrumbs - from left over barra de pan, shredded and dried in oven for a few minutes.
Herbs, dried or fresh(to taste) - I used Provincal, sometimes I might chuck a little chilli powder in.
Some grated 4 cheese, (comes in a bag from most places) or any cheese you like or have already.
Basically apart from the mince, bread, eggs and some cheese it's whatever you want to add....
Throw all the ingredients into a bowl except for the breadcrumbs and the cheese!!
Mix it around and add breadcrumbs slowly until it becomes more of a solid. Leave the bowl in the fridge for an hour if you want, it helps to soak up or something.
When you're ready to cook, get one of those round things for little cakes and put it on a piece of greaseproof paper, I used a piece that came with some ready made pastry.
Put some burger mix in and squash it down.
Add some grated 4 cheese on top.
Fill up with more mix and remove the round thing gently.
Cook in the normal way and serve with chips, salad or whatever...
