Sam Smith, the singer, has said he doesn't want to be referred to as 'they' instead of 'he'.
In the past he has said he doesn't identify to male or female.

Do you have to be on a certain type of drug to get this stuff ?????

I thought he said he didn't want to be called He or Him but They or Them
as he is gender non Binary. He says he feels neither male or female. So I suppose he can dress as a male one day and more feminine the next.
Up to him really as long as he's happy. Still  a good singer though. IMHO
If you read the whole story he says he's has never been happy as a male and wanders between masculine and feminine. On days he feels himself he goes into depression and has contemplated suicide on several occasions.
So as long as it's not hurting anyone I feel he can please himself and that he is very brave to open up and be able to talk about his feelings. No I am not on drugs just trying to understand topics that were always taboo.

Bring back the sixties , Flower power ,  Hippies , Free love , mud filled Festivals ,Minis  , great Pop Groups and the nearest we got to a binary was a fender bender. !!
