Avatars

Hi all -  sorry to be such an old dodo, but can someone explain in words of one syllable how to add an avatar next to my member name.

  No problem, go to the top menu item "Profile" - then "Forum Profile" and add a "Personalised Picture"

If we choose an avatar from that section, does that mean no one else can use it?  Is there any way a chosen one could be deleted from the remaining avatars?

Hi Frankie,

In theory everyone could choose the same image as their avatar and if that image is then deleted it won't be there for anyone.

A solution is to find and upload your own avatar but that won't stop others from copying it, for instance the cat with the green melon type helmet you used once.

Save this file (right click and "save as") & upload to your Profile
