However.... there is a little bit more, and it's from Albox (as usual)....

Only 22 votes separated the PP from the PSOE, at the close of the provisional counting. 22 votes that are enough to give victory to the popular party, who would have obtained 29% of the votes, compared to 28.5% of the Socialists. At least, that is what appears in the official account published on Sunday by the Ministry of the Interior.

However, the PSOE warns that an error in the transmission of data from a table to the Ministry would have taken 114 votes from them, which would mean the triumph of the Socialists. According to the complaint, at a polling station the votes of the PSOE have registered to the PCPA, which really would only have 7 votes, and not the 121 that have been registered.

The matter will be finalised this Wednesday when the official scrutiny occurs, at which time a party, in this case, the PSOE, may request that the count of a polling station be repeated. If everything has happened as the socialists say, the result of the 10N elections would be PSOE, 1,353 votes and PP, 1,260.

Vox, which has been the third most voted party, with 23.2%, is the only one that has grown, since it goes from the 584 votes (11.8%) harvested last spring, to the 1,007 achieved this Sunday.

Citizens Party, as in the rest of the province, is the big loser in these elections and loses more than twelve percentage points with respect to the results obtained in the previous call.

Thus, the orange party only obtains 8.7% of the votes cast this Sunday, compared to 21.13% last April. This assumes that Cs goes to fourth position.

As for the United Left, the general elections of this 10N leave it in the same fourth position as in the previous call. Of course, it falls slightly, achieving 5.7% of the votes, compared to 6% obtained in April.

Following the national trend, participation has also dropped in Albox, standing eight points below that registered in April. This Sunday, 4,389 albojenses went to the polls, which represents a 61.4% share, 8% less than 28th April, when 69.3% were registered.

I must admit that the Albox votes for the PCPA do look rather high compared to the rest of the region... watch this space

What really bothers me, is how a country in which I want to spend the rest of my life in, is lurching to the right

In my pueblo over 25% of the population voted for a party, which by my understanding is racist; sexist and climate change deniers.

I wonder how many of them I can now look in the eye, as people with shared values

So is the whole of Europe.
Maybe one day the politicians will start listening, I just hope it's sooner than later.
