I usually have lit my pellet burner by now every night but so far It has only been lit once on the 31st and I turned it off as it was too hot...

Month February - not the hottest or the coldest or the wettest.  The last 3 years have been mild though

Fascinating!  I cannot help wondering what this month will show as I cannot recollect a month where I have constantly been in the clouds as this one has been so far.

Monthly averages.  Just showing last 4 years or you wouldn't be able to read it.  The attached PDF goes back 10 years
We have had almost half the rainfall we had all last year

some people are saying it has been a cold Winter but thee Winters were colder a few years ago.  I didn't see any frost

I had a severe frost in early November which decimated a number of my plants as I hadn't covered the tender ones.  After that, although I low temperatures there was no further frost that I can remember...
I agree about winters in the past, Judi.  It is several years since I had snow which layed.  I've had an odd snow flurry but it hasn't settled.
