In August last year two friends “had a dream”. They both loved New Year Celebrations and wanted to have a big one with all their favourite people. At the time they were in a restaurant being entertained by Steve Fisher. They asked him and he would be available. That decided it, they booked the Kubatin and set about persuading friends to put something in the kitty.
It was a splendid night with 100 good friends, good food and excellent entertainment. When it was all over there was €270 left over. At the start they had said that if there was anything over, they would donate it to Walk for Life, so that is what they have done.
