Processional caterpillar time folks.

With the heat of the last few days the #orugaprocesionaria has arrived. It is time to "be keen eye" so that our hairy does not approach.

If they lick a caterpillar or suffer a sting it will have serious injuries or may even die.

We have a long string of them in the road outside our neighbours farmhouse this morning.

The Guardia regularly use the word Peludo in their messages referring to hairy and furry animals, long haired, shaggy, bushy. Normally with a picture of a dog.

Just seen some between the old railway line, Meson end, and the new bridge

Looks as if there are a couple who are straying from the line.  Maybe the one in front had beans for tea...
