Just finished watching this on ITV, computer generated horses running around Aintree and pre-national a greatest winners race, red rum, escargot, tiger roll, and many more past winners competing.
What a fantastic alternative to the real thing, ambulances driving around the outside track, workers rebuilding fences after the horses had done the first lap, crowds jumping up and down.. great entertainment !!
I wouldn't mind watching it this way every year, at least no horses or jockeys were injured
