Are we going to have businesses advertising on here?

I'm not sure we know how to do banner ads and don't know what we would do with any money.  We could have a section where they can advertise for free.  Is there someone who wants to?

It was Stu the mobile mechanic who was asking me yesterday what had happened to the forum.  I see that he has now joined and wondered if there should be a commercial board to make it easier for any member looking for a tradesman.

Maybe it could include recommendations?  Word of mouth from satisfied customers is the best way to get a tradesman...  Far better than a banner ad.

I can do banner ads of course.. it would help you with the costs Judi and the rest could go to charity as before. Guess you'd need a "treasurer" to keep track of it ?

Difficult to monitor Frankie.  As always, the first to post are friends and family. Thereafter it is, as you say, very useful  :tiphat:

I wasn’t really thinking about banner ads.  Just a board where local tradesmen can post details of what they do and give contact information.

If I have had good service from a tradesman, I always post so others can see....  I'd also do the same if I have been ripped off...
