1.  Mi hermana siempre fue muy responsable, mientras que a mí me gustaba salir de fiesta.

My sister was always very responsible, while I liked to go out partying.

2.  Alejandro se siente responsable de mi pierna rota, y con razón: me pegó con su carro.

Alexander feels responsible for my broken leg, and he should: he hit me with his car.
