Post by: Roscoe on 10 Apr, 2020, 06:20:12 pm
People seem to be saying that some non essential services can return to work on Monday, is this correct because I am becoming confused. :undecided:

Yes the same as the first two weeks, so builders and others can work again

Retail and hospitality are still closed

Yes true after Easter, notaries being the good step for people in limbo buying selling villa’s as you could complete if your lawyers have power of attorney. Not bars cafes, gyms etc where people gather. I get this from el pais.

My plumber returned to work today, his Gestoria told him he could have worked during the full lockdown.  He actually came to us for an emergency 2 weeks ago and got stopped by the Local police and told to go home, when  he told him he was working on an emergency, the police just shrugged and drove off.

My hairdresser phoned and said as autonomo she can start  work next week but must go to peoples houses.  I will wait a bit.  I am being very careful for my bubby.  He is now 81 and over the last 18 months has had a lot of chest infections.  Anyway 50% of the pleasure in going to the hardressers is having a good natter.  I'll wait untl I can go to the salon

Oops hubby not bubby

My hairdresser, who I have had at my home and I fully trust, will be coming to us in 2 weeks time,  lockdown willing.

I think hairdressers and nail technicians should be considered 'essential' professions...
