Haven't heard anything like this for many years, maybe not even whilst we've been living here ??

Wow Judi, we only managed 0.6mm here, storm passed very quickly

I was working outside in my garden.  Sky was very black and then the thunder cracked directly overhead but I did not see any lightning. It went on for about 5 mins max but not a single drop of rain.
