I am not a great contributor to this forum ... forums are not really my thing ... but I do recognise that this forum does an important job.
If nothing else, it is a place where people who live around here, can share ideas and information without fear of antagonism or rancour.
Back on the 26th April, Judi asked if anyone was prepared to help her meet the costs of keeping the forum going, by sharing the finance of the internet hosting fee .. just 100 Euros.
As of now, I am aware that, so far 4 people would be prepared to help.
Do you think that it is fair that those four people should pay 20 Euros and more, when so many other people value and enjoy this forum?
The costs of running the Forum needs to be shared out between the users.
I am sure that Judi´s original post has been genuinely forgotten in these difficult and worrying time for us all.
Please, what we need now, is for 20 members of the forum, to commit 5 Euros of support.
Then, equally important, we need people who are well connected with other forum members, to co ordinate the collection of these 5 Euro donations.
I know there are a lot of good people on here.
Show you value the Forum.
Agree to contribute, and if you can, let us know, you can help the collection of these donations, so that Judi can pay our bill.

I totally agree., Think it a brilliant idea.
But how to donate towards running site is my question.
Perhaps, when there is freedom of movement, those who don’t know any Admins personally could leave a :thumbsup: donation via an establishment known to Judi et al.

Already seen Judi and donated towards forum cost.
Not a lot to pay for the use of a great forum.

I have already contacted Judi, normally I would leave at Total Entertainment Albox. Unless she can't escape from Arboleas next week, we have someone coming to the house who could drop off at Total Entertainment Arboleas. :tiphat:

I will certainly contribute, but prefer to leave cash somewhere agreeable. Don't like or use Paypal.

Could be while... .but if okay with TE will certainly drop off a donation once we have permission to travel between regions. Be good excuse for a fish and chip lunch .
