  Hi, perhaps you should have also mentioned the pronunciation as the word is not spoken like the spelling. Experts out there your input please.

I admit that I also miss the pronunciation but the daily word is from a different source now.  Shame.

If I'm struggling to pronounce any of the words the feed sends through I copy to https://translate.google.com/ and then hit the speaker/listen icon.

Wouldn't it be much easier to get the translated words from a source which provides the pronunciation, after all, that seems to me to be very important?  I really don't like the new Spanish Word of the Day.

Hi Wolfie,  :hi: there are a few Spanish Word of the Day sites and we tried two options for "auto-posting" an RSS feed. The one being used at the moment has no pronunciation option at the moment, the other one needed you to click and go to their site to listen to it. https://thearboleasforum.com/index.php/topic,1171.0.html for example (click "source" link), but the layout needed editing every day.

However if you or anyone else can find an alternative then we'll check it out of course.

Auto-posting was the option after Judi didn't get a volunteer from her post https://thearboleasforum.com/index.php/topic,1158.msg6309.html so we do what we can with available resources and hope for suggestions from yourselves if you can spot improvements so we continue moving forward.
