Spec for a swimsuit I was looking at on line
Embroidery to notch neck
Yarn-dyed stripes
Bust darts
Adjustable detachable straps
Supper shelf
Ruching to each side
Dare I ask what a supper shelf is?
-
Bet you Raymondo knows 😉

Doreen, you are naughty. I have had some experience of Busts and adjustable removable straps but Bust Darts dont bear thinking about.??
The supper shelf club was adinner dance club but dont think they were in swimsuits.
Judi, post a pic on here once you get it.
Need a lie down now thinking about darts and busts.
Blood pressure you know.

Its for balance. Little and large .

Thank you, I had been trying to work out if it had any support
-
I suspect it is an extra bit under the bust, giving lift and separation. Possibly in addition to wires.
-
Did you know that Nuns wear spritually uplifting bras.
God be with the days when there were no wires and pulleys just gravity.
-
Raymondo I am being to think you are an underwear fitter, or you wish!
-
Aw, its just wishful thinking of course . I wish I was back in the free swinging sixties . I used to have wishful dreams of Julie Christie. Still do.
No padded anything in those days.🎶

I can remember when bras did not have underwires but they did have stitching which went round and round the cup, ending in a point in the middle. They were cotton and only in white. Anyone wearing a coloured bra or, god forbid a black one, was considered to be very racy indeed. Bet I'm not the only one, eh Girls?
