There was a bit of thunder up here last night and I discovered 3ml in my rain gauge this morning. Did anyone else get any? My car windscreen was covered in the red dust from Sahara.
-
Yes everything covered in the dust!
-
Huge bang and lights went out, big blobs of rain but not enought to cover the ground
-
My white has a colour job over night.

I intended getting my car washed this morning but the queue was too long and it looked as everyone had the same amount of dust on as mine! I may try again tomorrow.

Hi, had a 2 roof fires here one at los garcias and one further up the mountain road no casualties luckily. Blew my led ceiling lights out and a neighbours new ceiling fans. More new bits to buy.

I did hear/see the helicopters coming down the valley so knew there was a fire somewhere. Glad no one was injured.
Yesterday, driving behind a car I saw them throw a lighted cigarette out of the window. I was able to run it over. Are people Mad?
-
Not mad but stupid. Apparently the lightening started a small campo fire in El Chopo and hit an electricity pylon

I always know when there is a fire somewhere as the helicopter base is near Seron and they pass below my house on their way down the Almanzora Valley.
