Title: Fibre optic internet

OK you clever people...ows it work then?  They have been installing it around here and I got an email from Sistel to say it would be available from this week.  No prices or anything.  I am suddenly gettng speeds in the 30s.  It was only 6 at the weekend.  Don't they have to wire you up?

We had it installed last October, but they did run a cable across to the house and install a box which is attached to the router.

Yes they do. The increase in speed could be with people going on to fibre and thus giving normal internet more bandwidth
