Highest snow fall this century.
Madrid airport closed.
Traffic blocked on roads in the Madrid region.

There has been some, although not as much as I'd thought.  I had a mix of snow/sleet and rain yesterday and it was a bit warmer last night at 4.9C
I saw the snow in Madrid on BBC this morning and people playing with snowball fights...  Looks quite magical until I remember what it was like being cut off for 5 days with no electric or water  Our water is from an underground aquifer below the village and it's pumped up from there via electric, so when the leccy went it was unable to do it.  That's when I learnt that 3 buckets of snow melted down, was enough to flush the loo.... :undecided:

The sun is out, Teta is covered in cloud but there is snow up there.  I'll take some photos later
