Although The 6K Any Way Challenge doesn’t officially start until 8th May some people have got out there early to avoid the heat. Irene Lee-Barber is walking 6k each day for 6 days for 6 weeks. Mick Thomas has breathing difficulties and can only walk short distances. He and his wife Jane will complete the 6k over the next few weekends.
You can get sponsorship forms on the website at walk4lifearboleas.com, by messaging here or emailing w4lifesweet@btinternet.com. All money goes to help people with cancer in your area. You don’t have to get sponsors, do it for fun, or do it for your health and make a donation. Every 20€ raised is one trip to Almería for someone undergoing chemotherapy. Every Little Helps!
