Title: TV via big dish

My picture has suddenly reverted back to Thursday 1st of January.  It doesn't say which year but on checking it isn't 2021.  Has this happened to anyone else tonight?   I've tried all the obvious. unplugging, waiting 15 ins and trying again, unplugging each cable and doing the same.  Turning off electric etc, etc so will be ringing the TV Dr in the morning....

Following on from the above, I am now trying to contact Gary but his number is now not recognised.  Dos anyone have his number (sory, do not know his second name!) or can recommend another reliable TV repair person?

I am now getting a bit desperate - day 9 without TV...  Does anyone know a TV repair man who will come to people's houses?
Thankfully I have the option that Judi gave me, to see TV on my laptop (thank you Judi) and also Amazon Prime's 30 day free trial also on laptop.  I have it turned up as loud as it will go and still struggle to hear it.
HELP!!!!

 Think there’s a guy on the other forum called olive 25.
You could try sending him a pm if your still on that forum.
Also there’s Colin at Cool Solutions, though don’t know if he does up your way.

I am no longer on the other forum and haven't been for several years, so it sounds as if Colin it is then...  Do any of you have a phone number by any chance?  I threw my old copies of the local directories out last week :rolleyes:

Great to hear Frankie.  Colin is totally reliable and a nice guy.  Use him for Aircon and our dish. :smiley:

Ah, ok, sorry, some confusion with their email registration addresses from years ago I presume. Don't think I know Gary West, so many Gary's doing TV work it's a problem working out which is which  :dunno:

YIPPPEEEEEEE!!  I now have a working TV, so thanks everyone. 
Colin was here around 10 this morning and he confirmed the TV had reverted to the default setting due to the power surge.  He fixed it with just a few clicks of the remote.  It took him longer to drink his coffee than to sort it!  I was well impressed and he will be my first port of call if anything else goes wrong with it...

You can always rely on Colin for TV repairs, Satellite TV systems & aerials, AC Installation/Service, Reverse Osmosis, Water Filtration Systems, Wireless Alarm Systems, Installation of remote gate & garage door openers, and that's probably only the start of it all...oh yes, he's fixed our ceiling fan as well!   :clap: :clap:

Colin is Colin of Cool Solutions, we use him for all our aircon servicing, installations etc. also some satellite tv. work, he has always done a first class job and we have purchased many Aircon units from him. He is a really nice guy, no hesitation in recommending him. :grin: :grin:
