I have no TV so did not know he had passed.  As you sat cagzok, not unexpected,  I did think he had been sent home from hospital that it was to die with his family.  The Queen will miss him as he has been a massive part of her life since she first saw him when she was just 15.
Covid will upset the funeral plans which would have been made years ago...

I agree, to be at home was a good thing and he obviously made his plans for the landrover hearse, great to hear that  :tiphat:

I'm getting a bit fed up by now (20:35 Sunday) with all the repeated black and white film, visits to here there and everywhere and the stories from friends, relatives and people he once met and said hello to.

Even the radio has been playing dreary music all weekend... If I didn't know better I'd have guessed a Chinese chairman had died  :whistle:

Having been without any TV for most of last week, I am probably one of  the few who is enjoying seeing all the tributes.
No TV does have some advantages, although I still want it fixed.
