Title: Summer?

When will summer arrive? 
I've just checked XCWeather for my postcode and it is dismal.  There is rain almost every day and next wednesday looked particularly bad.
I've taken KatyKat out for a walk around the outside (she's blind and does not have the confidence on her own) and I felt cold.  I am still in the cloud up here.
I suspect when summer does finally show it's face we'll be in temperatures in the 30's, won't be acclimatised and be complaining of the heat....
