Just been looking at the weather stats I have been keeping for Partaloa since 2016 and this year the average daytime high temperatures have been the lowest. The average temperature for April had dropped year on year from 24.2° in 2016 to 20.6° this year, March has been more variable with temperatures going up and down over the 6 years, the highest average in 2017 of 21.8° and the lowest this year of 19°. Night time lows have remained fairly consistent over the years at 8/9° for March and 9/10° for April

I think the term climate change is more accurate

Agree, but it keeps being reported as global warming!

I defy 'them' to come up here and say that! This has been the longest, chilliest and possibly wettest Spring in the 17 years I've lived here on my mountain!

Me also frankie, top temperature of 26.6C today down here in the valley but seemed a touch cooler due to the easterly breeze.

That easterly can be harsh. Lovely today though. Pool was 21 degrees, I might be tempted soon.

It's possible that summer may have crept in overnight. Wearing boots, sox and a fleece on top of a T-shirt this morning, I felt like greasy chip walking around the Market in Purchena. :embarrassed:
Temperature in the car on the journey home showed 26C
