Does anyone have directions for the private clinic in Huercal Overa for the above please.

Drive in as if you are going to Lidl (ie don't take 1st turn off to H/O) and continue on past it to next r'about.. Continue on, going straight across the roundabout instead of turning left to go to Hospital. Drive on for about 300 mtrs and it is on the LHS and has Ce Media on the window. If you are lucky you may find a space outside, otherwise you'll have to search for somewhere in the back streets. Prepare for a longish wait.

Many thanks Frankie, much appreciated and it must be close to Social security office.

It's quite a bit before the SS offices. You can miss it as it is hidden as you are driving, down behind hedge of second lot of properties on that side of the road. I usually miss it and then have to take a side turning and come back again...

Looks like this

I took John during lockdown. Delivered him 20 minutes before his appointment. I couldn't go in. Went for a walk and got back 5 minutes after his apt time and he was already outside. That was a brain scan - not making the obvious jokes but he was OK

I usually try to find these weird and wonderful places on google maps and check out the street view for parking alternatives. During the covid problems I don't think you should have a long wait, the appointments are well spread out to avoid more than a couple of people at a time. The machine is very noisy.

Thanks everyone for your help.

Do I need an interpreter, fair Spanish between us, but better to be safe than sorry?
-
No you don't , John's Spanish is minimal and he managed.

Most of the operators of the scans are taught in English, so they speak the language fairly well. You need to remove any metal as machine works as a magnet. I learnt the hard way and forgot my silver bracelets one time. No sooner did the machine switch on but they shot up my arms and were incredibly tight. The machine either sensed them or the girls saw what happened and switched it off. I had bruises on both arms for quite a while. Just as well I'd removed my silver necklace....

Ouch, must remember to tell them a hip replacement is involved.

Yes, and I think that was one of the questions I've been asked every time....

Thanks all for help, went today, in and out within 15 minutes.

I've been there 3 times and never had to wait long, sometimes only a couple of minutes.
