Starting 23 October for over 70s
Combined with flu jab
-
That sounds great! I did wonder if we'd be getting a 3rd.
Any idea which vaccine will be used (not that it makes any difference to me, I'd have it what ever one it was)?
-
I believe it's Pfizer, but I don't want the flu jab nor does O/H having had a bad reaction years ago.
-
Oh, dear, sorry to hear that. I have always had it each year and will be more than happy to get it at same time as a covid jab.
-
Yes Pfizer.
Just say no thank you for the other arm, as I will do.
Only case of flu I have had is after having a flu jab.

I've only had it once way back in the early 70's and never want to get it again... I was working in London and living out in the suburbs, so needed to get home and can remember standing in London Bridge station waiting for the train and had to concentrate on not falling to the floor as I felt so bad. In the end I caught a taxi as I couldn't face waiting. I didn't leave the house for over 2 weeks...

I might be wrong but I thought they were supposed to commence on Monday 25th October.

Yes read the info on line then got the date wrong.
But we have to wait for an appointment which must be at least 6 months after your second jab.
