Covid infections are rising everywhere in Spain, although more slowly in Andalucia.
Current infection rate is 445 per 100,000.
However there is a general opinion that we should not be concentrating on the infection rate because the true figure is much higher, and what matters is the number of serious cases.
The number of covid cases currently in hospital in Andalucia is 692, a rise of 100 in the last 24 hours.
This compares to 5000 hospitalisations 12 months ago during the last peak.
There are currently 117 people in ICU (a rise of 10 in the past 24 hours).
This compares 700 during the peak 12 months ago.
The population of Andalucia is 8.5 million.

Still sounds as if Andalucia is doing better than a lot of others...
