Title: Red Day?
Post by: frankie on 16 Jan, 2022, 11:50:27 am
I think there is a holiday sometime next week?  I've marked it on last year's diary but no idea why?

Nor on mine!!  I've written it on last year's so perhaps it's a local one...

All the official "Red days" are listed on the calendar here - maybe Easter moves about a bit but check out

Superuser, thanks for the advice.  There is nothing on my Walk For Life Calendar.  I wrote on last year's that there was a holiday this week.  I do not live in Arboleas but in Somontin, hence my thinking it may be a local one.

As I suspected, it is indeed a local holiday.

Mercadona in Olula is closed today, as are most of the shops and no market.  It's due to local holiday..

Yes it was.  I was a bit confused as the board in Mercadona when I was there last thursday did not show it being shut today.  I only heard via local people that it was closed.
