Title: Water - where is it coming from?

It is august and there is still water in the river.  It isn't coming from upstream but pouring in from the land in various places.  Where is it coming from

I asked same question as it's still in the rambla through Purchena.  I was told it was from farmers not taking their allocation and it was run off to the rambla.

A Spanish guy , lives near us, lived in UK for years told me that he had spoken to the farmers and said the same thing but that is crazy and there isca lot of it

Ah, there isn't so much in Purchena rambla and it isn't running.  In fact, I was thinking as I drove by today that it looked stagnant and would be a breeding ground for mozzies...
