Title: Helecopters

saw 2 this morning around 8am.  One heading up the valley, flying low was all yellow.  any idea what it was.  The other flying down the valley about 20 minutes later was further to the West, much higher and looked white with black bits - traffico, Guardia?

Yellow helicopters belong to the Spanish fire brigade.  The Guardia Civil has white and dark green helicopters, the same colouring as their cars.

Not sure of the colours but don't forget the air ambulance which from experience with neighbours flies heart attack victims from H-O hospital to the specialist team at Granada.

I think the air ambulances are red and orange or red and yellow.

When there was a big fire further up the valley, I saw both colours, Judi, as well as plain white.  That was the time when 2 of them crashed as they were filling up the water bags and the crew on one were killed..
