Ordered central heating oil last Thursday, was told they couldn't give me a price at the moment and we wouldn't get the discount! Told us they would give us a price at 11.00am, still waiting. This is obviously a scam to make more money. I have used this company for the last 10 years, but will not recommend anymore. Their customer service is abysmal.

Try Sumpetrol in Saliente Bajo 950 439 377
-
Any idea of price judi?
-
No, we still have half a tank
-
They set price according to quantity. Also I discovered yesterday that they are no longer giving the cashback. I am trying to get hold of them to find out if they will still honour the cash back they did not give me last time. I knew nothing about it until
Roscoe said they'd had it. On checking, they owed me 155 euros!! I spoke to them and asked why I hadn't been given it and didn't get a satisfactory answer but was told they'd deduct it from the next bill. I will do a denuncia if they refuse on the grounds that the Govt scheme is ended.
I also have about half a tank remaining due to the very unseasonal warmth recently (noticeable by it's absence this morning!!!)

We didn't get the cashback last time either, as we didn't realise it was still going on. I think we'll seriously think about another company in the future as I don't like schemers.
-
We did but I had heard what happened to Frankie and asked when i asked the price. They were marginally cheaper than Sumpetrol but very unreliable - were coming sometime today for 4 days!

Wolfie, when I queried as to why I hadn't been given the discount last time, I was told it was due to my not giving them the info on my TIE card. At the time, I hadn't got one, just the stupid paper one. All my details were on the paper plus my Spanish driving licence but that was not sufficient. After I gave them the Card to look at and record, I was told I was eligible for the govt discount. I asked why they needed it as I never needed to produce it each time I filled the car up - I was given the usual shrug of the shoulders... Apparently you need to be registered with a company now in order to get the cheaper diesel than at the local garages.
-
Just how complicated can you make things these days? :undecided:
-
I got the discount from them without any identification - paid cash
-
I also paid cash...

When you couldn't buy red deisel from the pumps without a license we had to order through a a supplier for central heating oil and they requested nie, no problems. Got a txt from oil will be delivered 2-4 this pm. Still waiting! Totally unreliable, but the cheapest. BP were 10c dearer per litre, so must be adding delivery charges.
-
How much?
-
1.25 per litre! Just managed to get the minimum 300 litres in. see
-
Thanks, I was expecting more. When ours gets to half I will order a top up
-
Checked my notes today
, BP 400 litres 1.40 per litre, 500 litres 1.35 per litre. Although Tarraga y Palmis unreliable, saved a lot of money. The gauge on our tank was unreliable so used a pole to measure what was in the tank, unfortunately didn't see the tank had 6" off the floor, that was why it was a squeeze to get 300 litres in, approx 50 litres out, but we managed to get it in.

I'll be ordering tomorrow and it'll be interesting to see if they will add on the money they 'forgot' to take off last time as per Govt giving 20% back on fuel. I am not sure how much I want as there is still some in it. I do know how much I have to give him though...
-
Same here Roscoe! I was promised that I'd get the discount they didn't give me last year after I'd asked why I'd not been given it - 155€. Now being told I am too late as my paperwork did not arrive in time ie I did not have my TIE card, just the A4 paper, plus Spanish driivng Licence with photo on. I gather there were some who got it without, so queried it. Now they have changed their mind. My oil was ordered a week ago yesterday to be delivered by today. I am now told they will 'try and get it here today' after being told initially this morning that it'd be monday delivery...
-
Did you get the delivery. How much was it?
-
Yes, I did get it and got half the discount which I did not receive last time, with promise I'd get the rest next delivery. I paid €1,25 per litre but with €0.10 ltr discount-it was €1.15
-
€1.15 today
-
We ordered from T&P on Friday afternoon, they said delivery Monday/Tuesday - phone call just before midday to say 5 minutes away and they delivered 585 litres at €1.18 a litre. You obviously got a better deal Judi!
-
Crikey, ordered yesterday, delivered 10.00 today. Hopefully we won't need anymore until onset of next winter. 1.18€ per litre.
-
Just ordered another €500 worth and have been told its €1.05 ltr as they still owe me due to not giving me the discount I should have had which Govt were giving. Thanks Lmj!
