As I was working in the garden yesterday, perspiration dripping, the blackbird was at the top of one of the massive pine trees beside my house and he was singing his little heart out. He seems to arrive each year and it's a sign that summer is here.... Last year, he found a mate and they stayed until Autumn occasionally singing but there was nothing like that first aria of the year announcing his arrival....

I hope so! Trying to resist putting the garden furniture out, especially the roof terrace stuff as still a bit early, although will be brought down with a bump as flying to the UK Thursday so no more sun for a while :sad:

Oh, dear! I do hope your visit to the 'grey land´ wont be either cold or wet (you do remember rain, don't you?)

I will get reminded very quickly, it is due to be raining as I land - and nearly every day I am there
