Title: A A Auctions
Post by: AnnieM on 19 Jul, 2019, 08:24:24 pm
How do A A Auctions work now that they don’t do auctions?  Do they buy from you and sell on, or sell for you and take a commission?

The last time we went in with something (a couple of years ago) they said what they'd like to sell it for and take a commission from that.  You'll get paid when it's sold.

There doesn't seem to be much leeway in the prices so if you are not happy with what you are offered try the chap across the road at Pimans who adds his percentage on top of your price. Again you are paid when it's sold.

Hi Annie,

The answer to you question is either or both.

i.e. they will put your stuff up for sale and you get paid when it sells, or they may buy what you have for cash there and then.

Probably best to drop in and clear up the details with Becky.

Dave
