yesterday

1.  Ayer fue un día tan lindo; estaba soleado y con una temperatura agradable.

Yesterday was such a pretty day; it was sunny and with a comfortable temperature.

2.  Ayer fuimos a ver la nueva película de horror. Era demasiado sangrienta para mi gusto.

Yesterday we went to go see the new horror film.  It was too gory for my taste.
