1.  Después del discurso del padrino de boda, los invitados brindaron por los recién casados.

After the best man's speech, the guests toasted to the newlyweds.

2.  Los oficiales brindaron por el general que los llevó a la victoria.

The officers toasted to the general that took them to victory.
