A friend has been asked this by UK Pensions, state pension not private. They say they wrote to her in August but she did not get the letter. They have written again and not paid this month's pension. She has to fill in a form and get it signed and stamped by someone in authority.
Has anyone else had this with UK state pensions? I know it sometimes happens with private pensions, NHS and Police pensions

I also had this a few years back. Very inconvenient, form signing and getting myself authenticated with a solicitors signature.

I have counter signed a couple of State pension forms for people, although not recently.

I have frequently had these letters from private annuity pensions but never had one for my state pension.

Walked the dogs every day, sometimes twice, and sometimes in the snow covered almond groves. They loved it, especially the Husky.
