1.  Acaba de llover y el patio está todo fangoso.

It just rained, and the patio is all muddy.

2.  El terreno es fangoso. El mejor vehículo para atravesarlo es un jeep.

The terrain's muddy. The best vehicle for driving through it would be a jeep.
