On line report from the President of Andalucia at 13.00 hours today.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There has been a big increase across Andalucia.
In Almeria we have now exceeded 300 new cases.

So far a very slight increase in hospitalizations in Andalucia.
Bed occupation due to Covid 19 in Andalucia is 7%, 14% of ICU beds.

The figures for the whole of Spain are 10% and 24%

For Andalucia the cases per 100,000 are 186
For Spain the figure is 321

We are below the national average but the third wave is already being noticed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have vaccinated more people than any other community in Spain.
Andalucia has so far received 140,295 doses.
Today almost 70,000 people have been vaccinated with the first dose going to elderly in care homes, the staff and health personnel.
Only 1.6% of people have refused the vaccine.

20% of vaccines have been saved to ensure that people can receive their second dose.
It is important to retain a reserve of the vaccine to guarantee the second dose.

To create herd immunity we will have to vaccinate at least 50% of the population.
Andalucia receives 60,000 vaccines a week.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Perimeter closure of Andalucia will continue.
Mobility between Andalucian provinces will continue, but do not rule out restricting mobility in the coming weeks.
The municipalities of the Campo de Gibraltar will remain closed.
The school year will continue as planned.
University classes will continue on-line.

Shops can open until 8pm.
Bars will close at 6pm, except cafes who can remain open until 8pm but cannot serve alcohol.
Home delivery of food can continue until 11.30pm, last orders by 10.30pm.

Meetings are limited to 6 people.

These measure will start at midnight this Sunday and will last until midnight on 23rd January.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Infections are going to increase so everyone must follow the rules.
