Joining

Hello everyone, having been a member of the old forum I am pleased to be here

I am just wondering about the joining process though.  I applied once ,received an email saying my membership was pending approval and then never got the second email.  Tried again a few weeks later (2nd Nov) and again never received the second email.  This morning typed the address in google clicked on it and I was already in with my password 'saved' !!

Its not a problem, I am here, but  just thought admin should be aware incase there are other people waiting for approval notifications that dont come.

Yes my husband had the same problem a few weeks ago.  A quick message from me to Admin and it was sorted - Voila !  But of course, this only works if you have someone else to send a message on your behalf.

Well funnily enough nanaspain the reason I checked this morning was because I saw a comment by Frankie in a group I am a member of.  I came back for one last check otherwise I was going to tag her to ask!

Frankie it was Rambla de Oria group, but I wasn't entirely sure it wasn't another 'Frankie' because I know from memory of previous forums/posts over the years you don't live there. Anyway came to check on here again and I was in :D

We get some strange memberships requests that need to be checked out, todays few are, for instance:

not particularly great email addresses or names. The IP addresses are also given (which I didn't copy in) but your IP becci is from BTInternet which wasn't a quick approval for our local area. I can't check why you were originally not approved but after your message via email to us you were immediately granted membership.
