Why?
Because the company has not published the data and has not requested a license in the EU.
No one knows why.
But if you saw the press conference in the UK yesterday you will have noticed that the answer to most questions was that they are waiting for more data.
It was clear that the reason for releasing the vaccine early in the UK is to try to lower the pressure on the NHS.
They admitted that the purpose was not to prevent the virus but to try to ensure that when you get it the infection will bring less severe and not require hospitalisation.
